Tricholens provides a personal hair and scalp health monitoring platform using photographic analysis and AI-assisted tools. The Service is intended to help users track changes in their hair and scalp over time as a general wellness and self-monitoring aid.
The Service is a screening tool only. Outputs from the Service, including but not limited to hair density estimates, condition scores, trend charts, and AI-generated summaries, are not clinically validated diagnostic results. They do not replace a professional medical examination, laboratory test, or clinical assessment.
You acknowledge that image quality, lighting conditions, and other factors may affect analysis accuracy, and that the Service should not be relied upon for any medical purpose.
Tricholens includes AI-powered chat assistants and AI-generated content. These features are provided for general research, information, and inquiry purposes only.
We make no warranty that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You use AI features entirely at your own risk and judgment.
Tricholens may offer consultations or communications with our team members. These consultations are strictly about your experience with our platform, how to use the tools, understanding the software, billing, and general product guidance.
Staff members are not licensed medical professionals and are not qualified to provide medical advice, clinical recommendations, diagnoses, or treatment plans. Any information shared by our staff is not medical advice and should not be treated as such. Please direct all health concerns to a qualified healthcare professional.
This Service is restricted to users who are 18 years of age or older. By creating an account or signing in (including through Google or any other identity provider), you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. We require an explicit age attestation at sign-up; submitting a false attestation is a violation of these Terms and grounds for immediate, permanent account termination.
We do not knowingly permit minors to register or use the Service. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will promptly suspend the account, delete the associated personal data, and (where required by law) notify a parent or guardian. Parents who believe their child has registered without authorisation should contact us immediately at info@folligenz.com.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or use of your account.
Tricholens is a hair and scalp imaging service. Sexually explicit content, nudity, and images of genitalia are strictly prohibited and will never be hosted on our platform.
You agree NOT to upload, submit, transmit, or share, through any feature of the Service, including AI tools, the photo gallery, the photo diary, the community, profile photos, or any chat, any image or other content that:
Automated screening. All image uploads are passed through an automated content-safety classifier before they are stored on our servers. Images flagged as sexual or genital are rejected, never written to storage, and never analysed. The classifier may also flag other clearly unsuitable content (e.g. graphic violence) at our discretion.
Consequences of a violation. Each rejected upload is logged against your account. We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice:
If you believe an image was flagged in error, you may appeal by contacting info@folligenz.com. False or abusive appeals will themselves count as a violation of these Terms.
You retain ownership of all images, posts, and other content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant Tricholens a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We do not sell your images or personal data to third parties. Your scalp images and health data are used solely to provide and improve the features you use.
You have full control over your data. You may delete your images, analysis sessions, community posts, chat history, or your entire account at any time through Account Settings. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed from our systems within a reasonable period, subject to any legal retention obligations.
Tricholens includes community features where users may share posts and interact with others. You agree not to post content that is:
We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected). You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You may cancel, pause (up to 30 days), or downgrade your subscription at any time through Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tricholens and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100 (whichever is less).
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the applicable jurisdiction.
